Is The American Dream Dead?

I had the opportunity to watch a repeat of Investing In America last night on CNBC.  I thought the town hall meeting with President Obama went well.  There was a gentleman there who asked the question is the American Dream Dead?  I found that question somewhat puzzling.  Reason being is that there are so many people who come to this country in search of the American Dream and a lot of them find it.  This gentleman has been in America probably all of his life and wasn't sure if it still existed.  So I wrote the question down because I wanted to give my two cents.  The American Dream is not dead.  You just have to restructure some things when times are tough to make sure that you can get through it.  As far as being an entrepreneur and starting your own business, nothing has changed even though the economy is tough.  You still have to be passionate about what is your going to be doing.  You still have to put in the work.  I think that a lot of people listen to the news so much about the economy being so bad that they aren't able to move forward.  They get stuck in a rut and some would ask the question is The American Dream Dead.  My answer is nope.  It is very much alive and if you want you can still achieve it you just have to have the dream and put in the work to make the dream come true.

Until Next Time
Make It A Great Day!
